The KKK was created in 1865 by a group of ex confederate soldiers created the Ku Klux Klan to Prank ex slaves but soon the KKK became more extreme from just scaring to assault and murder.

The KKK laid dormant for many years but after the blockbuster film a birth of a nation the KKK had a revival with large groups not only in rural areas but areas like Denver.

The KKK organized a march on Washington with over 30,000 on August 8 1925.
